Vacancy Announcement: Program Evaluation Coordinator(Turkish Nationals Only)- Istanbul



Position Location: Istanbul, Turkey


Position Summary:

The Program Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for managing M&E activities and conducting qualitative and quantitative analytics to monitor program performance and assess overall impact. The Program Evaluation Coordinator will use data collected by the M&E team and third party partners to develop analytical reports assessing reactions to and the impact of program support. The Coordinator will be comfortable conducting qualitative and quantitative analytics from various data sources, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and other qualitative methods.


Duration: For the duration of the program.


Reporting and Supervision:

The Program Evaluation Coordinator will report to the Monitoring and Evaluation and Reporting Manager.


Primary Responsibilities:

The Program Evaluation Coordinator will contribute to the analytic needs of a Company-Turkey project.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design activities to monitor and evaluate the impact of programming for beneficiaries;
  • Manage all aspects of the program management cycle to include drafting scopes of works, activity sheets, and contracts;
  • Coordinate with partner organizations to monitor the progress of activities;
  • Conducting quantitative analysis on the level of support given to beneficiaries;
  • Performing statistical analysis on quantitative and qualitative data to assess beneficiary reactions to program support;
  • Develop analytical reports detailing qualitative and quantitative findings about program impact;
  • Draft recommendations on how to increase program impact based on findings from data analysis;
  • Calculate indicator data for inclusion in quarterly reports;
  • Contribute towards responses to client or management requests for information (RFIs);
  • Perform quality checks on program trackers, as necessary;
  • Other relevant tasks and duties, as assigned by management

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • If needed, attend meetings between project staff and outside parties;
  • Assist in the development of data collection tools;
  • Support M&E outreach and information gathering activities as needed;
  • Submit regular time sheets and travel expense reports for program related costs to ensure timely reporting of program operational expenses
  • Maintain 100% accountability of all program provided equipment.
  • Other activities, as directed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Excellent Turkish and English skills (written and spoken);
  • Strong computers skills, specifically with MS Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with methods of statistical analysis, including time series analysis, linear regressions, crosstabs, and chi-square analyses.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to work independently, and obtain results with little guidance;
  • Previous experience gathering information and writing reports on program impact;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Native or Intermediate Arabic proficiency;
  • Experience writing reports for international donors;
  • Evaluation and/or facilitation skills.
