Gençlik Demokrasi Projesi' Nisan 2012'de başlayacak olup, katılımcıların yemek, konaklama, gezi ve faaliyet masraflarının tamamı ve seyahat masraflarının %70'i karşılanacaktır. PROJECT DURATION:

The project duration is 18 months, with the start date of April 1, 2012 and end on September 30, 2013.

The project Will Be Financed by European Commission (EU Education and Youth Programme). Therefor, food, accommodation, trips, activities Will Be Fully covered, And Also% 70 of travel Costs Will Be Supplied. As 30% This Project Requires co Financing.

PROJECT SUMMARY:

EUROPEAN YOUNG VOICES The project aims to democratic participation of youth in their municipalities by promoting dialogue between them and local authorities. The duration is planned for 18 months and 4 European organizations taking part in the project and whose main activities will be developed in rural areas of the Participating organizations. Will establish a network of organizations active in participatory democracypractices in the field of Youth for the development of a sustainable network of participatory democracy.

The cultural association Action Aljaraque as promoter of the project presented their experiences in the Youth Sector Council Aljaraque, inviting the development of a plenary discussion of topics of interest. Theassociates share their own practices in the event that they develop on democracy and participation on key issues and direct contact with politicians. The subject matter ranges from European governments, to climate change, Europeanism, discrimination and other issues of relevance to the group of young participants.

A group composed of 3 young people led by a tutor from each organization will participate in events on participatory democracy under the project to learn about different initiatives and implement them in their own countries. Young recorded actions edited and included in the project and other Web portals such as YouTube so that more people get interested in becoming active citizens.

The support of local authorities and their involvement will be crucial for proper development of the project and achieve the expected results, and the presence of media in all events. The ultimate idea would be to continue working as a network for future actions at European level on democracy, deepen the needs and topics of interest.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:

EUROPEAN YOUNG VOICES aims to improve the democratic participation of young people in their municipalities, facilitating dialogue between them and local authorities.

The specific objectives are to create a network of different institutions in the field of youth, experience and best practice knowledge of participatory democracy in other European countries and to implement and disseminate new forms of participation.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES:

The activities planned during the project are:

• Creation of a network. As a starting point for the development of the project and its continuity in the future, it provides for the establishment of an active network in the field of youth and experience in participatory democracy initiatives. This network will meet at 3 occasions during the project implementation.

• Exchange of experiences. Three young men from each of the six participating institutions, accompanied by a guardian for the country, travel to other countries to learn and experiment in participatory democracy initiatives they develop.

• Dissemination. The project will contain as a fundamental means of disseminating a web page. In addition, meetings will be recorded on video to be edited and uploaded to sites like YouTube or Facebook, and be integrated into the project website. Thus the diffusion of the project will be higher. The portal will also be used Facebook to share these experiences of participatory  democracy
